With Miami set to be one of the host cities for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, all eyes are on the development of the city’s newest soccer landmark: Miami Freedom Park, the future home of Inter Miami CF.
Backed by David Beckham and years in the making, the $1 billion project is more than just a stadium—it’s a cultural centerpiece that promises to redefine the way Miami experiences the game.

A NEW ERA IN MIAMI
Slated to open in early 2026, Miami Freedom Park is a 25,000-seat stadium designed specifically for soccer. But it’s also part of a much larger vision: the complex will include a hotel, retail space, restaurants, and a massive 58-acre public park. It’s a win-win for the city—a boost in infrastructure, recreation, and global visibility.
Inter Miami’s move from DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale to its new home in Miami will mark a major milestone for the club and its growing fanbase.

ON THE WORLD STAGE: FWC26
The timing couldn’t be better. As the U.S. gears up to co-host the FIFA World Cup in 2026, Miami is confirmed as a host city—and Miami Freedom Park is expected to be a centerpiece for matches, fan experiences, and international media coverage. Miami’s diversity, energy, and deep soccer roots make it an ideal World Cup destination—and the new stadium will give fans a front-row seat to the action, quite literally. Design features will include:
• A state-of-the-art pitch designed for both MLS and international competition
• Food and culture that reflect Miami’s global identity
• Easy access via public transportation and pedestrian-friendly paths
• A dedicated fan zone for World Cup activation.
