FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Kicks Off in Miami: What You Need to Know

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 is set to make history as it kicks off across the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025, with Miami selected as one of the tournament’s premier host cities. This is the first time the expanded 32-team format will be played in the U.S., and Soccer5 is proud to be an official Community Partner.

Florida Takes the Spotlight

It all begins with a high-stakes opener on Saturday, June 14, at Hard Rock Stadium, where Inter Miami faces Al Ahly FC (Egypt) in front of a global audience. Kickoff is set for 8:00 PM ET.

Tournament Like No Other

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ is a first-of-its-kind, 32-team tournament featuring top clubs from every continent. The month-long event will span 11 U.S. cities, giving fans unprecedented access to soccer’s biggest stars.

The championship final will be played at MetLife Stadium in Miami on July 13, 2025. This iconic venue won’t just host the climax of this summer’s tournament—it will also serve as the location of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ Final, and is scheduled to host eight World Cup 2026 matches, including:

  • Five Group Stage matches
  • One Round of 32 match
  • One Round of 16 match
  • The World Cup Final

How the Tournament Works

Here’s the breakdown of the 2025 Club World Cup format:

  • 8 groups of 4 teams
  • Each team plays 3 group-stage matches
  • Top 2 teams from each group move on to the Round of 16
  • The remainder of the tournament follows a knockout format
  • Total matches: 63
  • Final: July 13, 2025, at MetLife Stadium
